I am from Virginia Beach, VA, but am originally from northeastern North Carolina. So yes, I LOVE the beach and the Outer Banks and I am a huge Duke fan. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Johns Hopkins University. I will be pursuing my PhD, concentrating my research in cardiac electrophysiology. I just recently completed my Bharatanatyam Arangetram (Indian classical dance debut). So in my free time, I love to dance and sing.
