I work on engineered cardiac tissues derived from human pluripotent stem cells.
I received postgraduate degrees from department of physiology at Pusan National University School of Medicine, located in Yangsan, South Korea in 2015 under the super vision of Dr. Jaeho Kim. My research focus has been on tissue regeneration with stem cell therapy. I completed a postdoc at same laboratory where I focused on cardiac tissue regeneration and endothelial progenitor cells. I joined the Bursac lab in September 2016. Outside of work, I enjoy watching movies and hiking with my family.
